Since the inception of the TEQIP-III, NIT Srinagar has left no stone unturned for achieving the objectives of the project. Many factors have been combined to make this project a success. Over the period of the project in NIT Srinagar TEQIP-III has brought about a mini revolution in the Institute by supporting the faculty, staff & students in academic and administrative activities. It has allowed them to explore their talent and improve their learning and administrative skills by utilizing the TEQIP funds. The faculty of the Institute have enjoyed real benefits for their subject upgradation and research competence. It has also increased their participation in Seminars, Conferences & Workshops being conducted across the country.
Over the past few years large numbers of students were placed in ineligible category, during placement drives, as they had backlogs from earlier semesters. Therefore, remedial classes have been conducted for these students, which has proved extraordinarily beneficial for them.
