The Medical unit at National Institute of Technology Srinagar is committed to promote the health and wellness of campus community by providing quality healthcare, education, and treatment services. The medical unit primarily provides to patients;

OPD-IPD consultation by the Medical officer,

Pathology, Radiology (X-Ray), Cardiology (ECG) investigations by the Qualified Technicians,

Nursing & hospitalisation by the Qualified Nursing staff, and

Pharmacy services by Pharmacy Professionals and Paramedics.
Besides a lifestyle disease clinic, a mental well-being or psychology section, dental section and physiotherapy section have also been set up to increase the ambit of medical services. The medical unit at NIT Srinagar aims to enhance the healthcare experience of its community by providing health consultation with respect, consideration and confidentiality.
FACILITIES PROVIDED AT MEDICAL UNIT NIT SRINAGAR
The Institute hospital is located within the campus, it is located amidst the hostel/residential zone and the academic zone. The NIT Srinagar medical unit provides primary health care round the clock on all the days. NIT Srinagar medical unit has casualty, OP & IP facilities, 24 hours equipped ambulance, 24 hours pharmacy and a clinical laboratory working during 08:00 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. (& in emergency 24×7).
