MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
1. This Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as "MOU") entered into on this 09th day of Sept 2020 by and between:
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context or meaning thereof be deemed to mean and include its successors and permitted assigns), of the First party;
AND
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar (hereinafter called as NIT Srinagar which the expression shall unless repugnant to the context or meaning thereof be deemed to mean and include its successors and permitted assigns) of the Second Party.
2. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is executed at Srinagar on 7th April 2021, "(hereinafter referred to as the Effective Date)" between:
National Institute of Technology Srinagar, a Centrally Funded Technical-Institute, established undef National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007, having Campus & Administfative Offices at Hazratbal, Srinagar, J&K-19006, of the FIRST PART,
AND
Jammu & Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation Ltd. is a Public Sector Undertaking, established vide Govt. order No: E-65-WIP of 1965 dated 09.02.1965 & incorporated under J&K Companies Act 1977, of the SECOND PART.
