Upon the completion of this course the students will be able to:

Basic understanding about the Proximate Analysis of fuels and its significance with respect to energy

Demonstrate and understand the working principle, construction and operation of combustion equipment

Estimate the calorific value of solid fuels like coal to ascertain their suitability ina combustion equipment
